Amazon Buy Box tracker and seller history
Chilview is a Chrome and Brave Buy Box tracker for Amazon product pages by Chilview LLC. See who held the Featured Offer, how often it flipped, and pair that with price history and BSR — no Seller Central login, product information only.
Chilview is a Chrome and Brave extension for Amazon product research by Chilview LLC. Its Buy Box tracker sits on the listing so wholesale and online-arbitrage sellers can see who held the Featured Offer, how often ownership flipped, and whether the box looks stable before they buy inventory.
How to read Buy Box history in Chilview
- 1. Open the Amazon product page you might source. Chilview’s Buy Box analytics load on that page — no dashboard hop, no Seller Central login.
- 2. Watch ownership and flip rate. Frequent flips can mean a price war or many equally matched offers. Long holds can mean a sticky Featured Offer — still not a guarantee you will take it.
- 3. Read price volatility next to the box. A suppressed or flipping box plus a crashing price is a common wholesale skip. Confirm seller-count drops the same way: as context, not a rule.
- 4. Cross-check BSR and Estimated fees. Rank trend and the on-page FBA calculator (Estimated) keep you from treating a pretty box as a profitable box.
What this tracker shows — and what it does not
Chilview collects no personal info — only product information. Buy Box ownership history is product-page research. It does not log you into Seller Central, does not promise you the Featured Offer, and does not replace Amazon’s live offer algorithm. For a published observed mix, see Who holds Amazon’s Buy Box: 57,410 visits, Amazon 7.18%, 3P FBA 91.98%, 3P merchant 0.84%.
Trial is 3 days of full access, no credit card. Founder is $30 one-time for the first 500 users. After that, Pro is the published monthly rate. One trial per computer.
Limitations for OA and wholesale
Chilview is not SellerAmp, not a full OA sourcing OS, and not a repricer. Cross-marketplace comparison helps you look at other Amazons, but each market still needs its own Buy Box read. If the listing has variation families, use Variation Viewer plus notes — a parent box can hide child-offer chaos.
Buy Box history versus a live Featured Offer
History tells you what happened on visits Chilview could see. The live Featured Offer on Amazon can still change after you close the tab. Use ownership charts to spot chronic flippers and sticky holders, then re-check the offer list before you send money. Seller-count drops matter when they line up with a price crash; they do not, by themselves, prove suppression. Chilview will not diagnose Amazon suppression for you.
The 57,410-visit study on this site is US product-page mix from 12 May to 5 Oct 2026: Amazon 7.18%, third-party FBA 91.98%, third-party merchant 0.84%, with Featured Offer flips on 302 of 8,005 listings (3.8%). Quote those figures as observed methodology, not as your next PO. Link the study when you cite it. Review insights on the same page can show customer complaints that often travel with unstable offers — still not a Buy Box predictor.
Wholesale buyers should map landed cost outside Chilview. OA buyers should map the retail ticket outside Chilview. The extension tracks the Amazon side: box, price, BSR, Estimated fees. Chrome and Brave only. No personal info. $30 one-time Founder for the first 500 users, then the published Pro monthly rate.
Frequently asked questions
Can Chilview tell me I will win the Buy Box?
No. Chilview shows Buy Box ownership history and how often it has flipped on the listing you are viewing. Winning the box still depends on Amazon’s live offer rules, which we do not control.
What did Chilview observe about who holds the Buy Box?
In the published study of 57,410 US Amazon product-page visits (12 May–5 Oct 2026), Amazon held the Buy Box 7.18% of the time, third-party FBA 91.98%, and third-party merchant 0.84%. Combined third-party share was 92.8%. That is observed visit mix, not a forecast for your ASIN.
Do I need Seller Central for Buy Box history?
No. Chilview researches the Amazon product page without a Seller Central login. Trial is 3 days, no card, one per computer.
Is Buy Box history enough to buy wholesale?
No. Pair it with price history, BSR, review insights, and Estimated FBA fees. A quiet box at a collapsing price can still be a bad buy.
