Amazon price tracker
Amazon Price Tracker — Price History on the Product Page
Amazon price history belongs on the listing, not in another tab. Chilview is a Chrome and Brave extension by Chilview LLC that charts prices next to Buy Box, BSR, and an Estimated FBA calculator — no Seller Central login, no personal info collected.
Chilview is a Chrome and Brave extension for Amazon product research by Chilview LLC. On a listing it shows price history charts so FBA, wholesale, and online-arbitrage sellers can see drops, spikes, and ranges before they buy inventory — without leaving Amazon or logging into Seller Central.
How Chilview price history works
- 1. Open an Amazon product page in Chrome or Brave with Chilview installed. Research happens on the listing, not in a separate dashboard.
- 2. Read the price history chart for the offer you are evaluating. Look for sudden drops (possible price wars), long flat ranges (more stable), and recent spikes that may not last.
- 3. Pair the chart with Buy Box and BSR on the same page. A cheap price with a flipping Buy Box is a different risk than a stable offer with a quiet box.
- 4. Treat fee math as Estimated. The on-page FBA profit calculator is a planning aid. Confirm exact Amazon fees in Seller Central before you send a PO.
What data Chilview uses for prices
Chilview collects no personal info — only product information. Price history, Buy Box ownership history, BSR tracking, review insights, keyword niche signals, and the FBA calculator all sit on the Amazon page. There is no Seller Central login for this research. Shared seller-suite databases and Keepa-length graphs are not what this extension is.
Founder pricing is $30 one-time for the first 500 users, with a 3-day trial and no credit card (one trial per computer; Seller Brief can add two days). After 500 Founders, Pro is the published monthly rate. Privacy-safe · No personal data collected.
Honest limits of an on-page Amazon price tracker
Chilview is not a full seller suite (keywords, PPC, listing ops). It is not Keepa Pro for ultra-long shared graphs. It does not promise units sold from a chart. Cross-marketplace comparison is available as a feature, but each marketplace still needs its own look. If you need a decade of third-party history or a PPC console, keep the tool that does that job and use Chilview for the page in front of you.
Screens in the product include the popup Black Box header, 90-day price history, Variation Viewer, listing quality, and niche verdict. Use those together: a pretty price line with a weak listing-quality score is still a weak listing.
Using the 90-day chart with Variation Viewer
When Chilview shows a 90-day price history, start with the shape, not a single point. A listing that spent most of those days in a tight band and then fell is a different story than one that bounced every week. If the ASIN is a parent with sizes or colors, open Variation Viewer. Child offers can have no featured offer, leftover notes, or a price that never appears on the parent chart. Research notes on variations are there so you do not buy the parent story and receive the child risk.
Keyword niche summary and listing quality sit beside the chart because a cheap price on a weak page still converts poorly. Page 1 keyword check and draft titles/bullets are optional helpers after you decide the price is even worth a listing rewrite. Hover preview is for scanning search results faster — it does not replace opening the PDP for history. Cross-marketplace comparison is a second look at other Amazons, not a merged global price. Founder access remains $30 one-time for the first 500 users; the trial is 3 days of full access with no credit card, one per computer.
If you already keep Keepa open for long shared graphs, keep it. Chilview’s job is the page in Chrome or Brave: history plus Buy Box plus BSR plus an Estimated FBA calculator. That combination is what wholesale and OA sellers use for a go/skip without a Seller Central login. Chilview collects no personal info — only product information.
How Amazon price tracking works
Amazon prices move constantly — promotions, coupons, Buy Box fights, and restocks change what you see today. A tracker records the history so you can tell whether today’s price is the real selling price or a temporary spike. Chilview is not a real-time feed of every Amazon offer. It shows observed 90-day price history on the product page you opened, next to Buy Box ownership and BSR. That is how FBA and arbitrage sellers spot fake discounts (a “sale” that is still near the 90-day high) and time sourcing nearer the lows, not the peak. Charts inform the call; they do not invoice fees.
What to check before you buy
A price line alone is not a buy. Pair the trend with Buy Box ownership (who actually gets the sale), BSR (demand trend, not a one-day rank), and fee math from the on-page FBA profit calculator — labeled Estimated, then confirmed in Seller Central. Learn how to read Amazon price history so the chart is a range, not a dare. Chilview collects no personal info — only product information. Trial is 3-day full access, no card. Founder is $30 one-time for the first 500 users (2 devices); then Pro is $10/month.
